The Vatican Council advised all faithful to read and study more on the Holy Bible, because it is through the Bible that we learn about Jesus Christ. Therefore the Catholic Church has been actively promoting the study of the Holy Bible since the second Vatican Council.
The Little Rock is a Bible study campaign that was approved by Bishop J. Peter Sartain from Arkansas, US. It was brought to Malaysia by CDD in 2004. Many devotees were born out of the study group, they expended great effort in translating, editing, researching, conducting, organizing and promoting the study group, this resembled scenes of the early church and the Holy Spirit has shown His greatness.
The Little Rock Bible Study Group was started on 22nd February 2012 in HRC and has completed four topics thus far, namely the Mystery of the Rosary, Acts of the Apostles, the Gospel according to Mark, and the Exodus.
The objectives of the Little Rock Bible Study Group are to change one’s life through the study of the Holy Bible, and to nurture the interest and habit of all Catholics to study the Holy Bible.
